Steve "The Boss" Gladstone

Known to Semtex members as "The Boss", Steve began training at the age of 19 in Kyokushinkai Karate at the famous South African Bushido Dojo in Durban. By the age of 23 he had achieved the rank of WKA Black Belt 5th Degree. Steve then helped pioneer the sport of full contact kickboxing in South Africa amassing a record of 29 fights with only 4 losses, gaining an amateur and pro middleweight title in the process. Steve then progressed to full rules Thai-boxing winning against a Malaysian Champion by knockout in round 3. Steve currently holds a record of 67 fights, 60 wins and 7 losses. Steve has been fighting and teaching most of his life and is the head coach at Semtex Gym. Steve continues to produce champions from Junior thru to world champions. As well as training martial artists to the highest level. Kieran started training at age 12 and had his first junior fight at 14. He had 6 junior fights before turning pro at 15. He then won an English title at 17 and a further 4 British titles by the time he was 20. He then won the WAKO-PRO world title at the age of 21. At the age of 25 he moved down to light-welter weight and won the W.P.K.L world title.
He was also the first British fighter to fight at Lumpinee and Rajadamern.

After fighting in Thailand, Holland, Italy, Morrocco, Hong-Knog and France he has now found a home in Swanley.
